Job summary

HIVIS Group in Carrington, NSW, is seeking a hands-on Sign Shop Production Operator to join our busy production team. You'll turn raw materials, vinyl and printed graphics into finished signage and safety products for customers across Australia.

This role focuses on operating laminators and sign-making equipment, reading job sheets, ensuring quality and safety, packing finished jobs and keeping the workspace clean.

The Job

We're looking for a Sign Shop Production Operator to join our busy Carrington production team.

This is a hands‑on production floor role where you'll help turn raw materials, vinyl and printed graphics into finished signage and safety products ready to go out into the real world.

• Manufacturing vinyl and metal signage and safety products
• Operating laminator and other sign‑making equipment
• Assembling and finishing signage
• Preparing materials ready for production
• Reading job sheets and following production instructions
• Checking sizes, materials and job specifications
• Quality checking your work before it leaves the floor
• Packing and preparing completed jobs
• Working with the production team to keep jobs moving
• Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe

You don't need to know everything on Day One

Signage experience would be great, but we're also interested in people who have worked in production, manufacturing, printing or machine operation - or practical people who are simply good with their hands and keen to learn.
