Job summary

Durasafe Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a hands-on Sign Maker for a full-time role focused on the design, production and assembly of signage and stencils for industrial and commercial environments.

You will work from artwork prep to final fabrication, operate CNC routers and wide-format printers, manage stock levels and collaborate with marketing and administration teams using inventory software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of signage industry experience.
• Experience with Enroute, Inkscape, Roland VersaWorks and ErgoSoft software is a plus.
• Experience with CNC operations is advantageous.
• Able to operate hand and cordless tools.
• Current Driver’s Licence is required.
• White Card preferred.
• Forklift Licence or sheet metal experience desirable.

Join our growing team at Durasafe Pty Ltd, a leading provider of safety and linemarking solutions.

Due to growth we currently seeking a skilled and motivated Sign Maker to join our team in a full-time, hands-on role. This position is key to the design, production, and assembly of a range of signage and stencils used in industrial and commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist to create and prepare signage artwork.
• Fabricate and assemble signs and stencils.
• Operate and maintain CNC router.
• Operate and maintain multiple wide-format printers.
• Perform general sign making and finishing tasks.
• Manage inventory and stock levels.
• Work with a variety of signage materials.
• Work with marketing and administration teams to manage workflows by use of Inventory Management software.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the signage industry preferred.
• Experience with Enroute, Inkscape, Roland VersaWorks and ErgoSoft software highly regarded (not essential).
• Backgrounds in CNC operations advantageous.
• Confident using hand and cordless tools.
• Current Driver’s Licence (required).
• White Card (preferred).
• Forklift Licence and/or sheet metal experience (desirable but not essential).
