Job summary

Accenture seeks a SIEM Tester to validate and assure SIEM platforms, security monitoring use cases, and threat detection capabilities across Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, and Elastic Security. You will develop test plans, validate log ingestion pipelines, alerts, dashboards, and reporting, and perform functional and regression testing to ensure robust security coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience testing SIEM platforms and validating detection rules.
• Ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts.
• Familiarity with log collection, parsing, and enrichment processes.
• Experience performing functional, integration, and regression testing for SIEM solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SIEM platforms.
• Validate log collection, parsing, normalization, and enrichment from various sources.
• Test security use cases, detection rules, correlation searches, and alerting mechanisms.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing of SIEM solutions.
• Validate dashboards, reports, and threat-hunting queries.
• Simulate cyber attack scenarios and verify detection coverage and alert generation.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
• Work with security engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Support deployment and release testing activities.
