Accenture Australia is seeking a SIEM Tester to validate Security Information and Event Management platforms, data pipelines, and threat detection across Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, IBM QRadar, or Elastic Security. You will test detection rules, dashboards, and reporting, while collaborating with security engineers to resolve issues and support deployments.

Ideal candidates have hands-on SIEM testing experience, a solid understanding of SOC operations, and familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK.

Qualificações

• Experience testing SIEM platforms and security monitoring use cases.
• Understanding of SOC concepts and incident response workflows.
• Familiarity with threat hunting and detection rule validation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute test plans for SIEM platforms.
• Validate log collection, parsing, and enrichment from various sources.
• Test detection rules, correlation searches, and alerting mechanisms.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing of SIEM solutions.
• Validate dashboards, reports, and threat-hunting queries.
• Simulate cyber attacks to verify detection coverage and alerts.
• Document defects and coordinate resolution with engineers.
• Support deployment and release testing activities.
