Job summary

Infinity Pro invites a Cyber Security Architect to lead security engineering across SIEM, identity, endpoints and cloud for a Federal Government contract in Canberra. You will translate designs into implemented, secure solutions and drive assurance across security domains.

The role requires hands-on technical work, architecture leadership, and the application of ISM/PSPF guidance. NV1 clearance and Australian citizenship are essential.

Qualifications

• Cyber security architecture and engineering across complex enterprise environments.
• Enterprise security-monitoring and SIEM architecture and telemetry coverage.
• Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Identity deployment and integration.
• Endpoint/server hardening and vulnerability management.
• Architecture designs, data-flow diagrams and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain security-monitoring architecture, define logging/retention, and improve telemetry for SIEM onboarding.
• Identify monitoring blind spots and gaps affecting detection and forensics readiness.
• Design endpoint/server/identity-security requirements, baselines, hardening, and integrations.
• Assess security-platform configurations, identify duplicated tooling, and develop remediation roadmaps.
• Produce architecture designs and technical standards; validate deployments against approved designs.
