Job summary

Silk Logistics is seeking an experienced Sideload Driver for our Yennora site in NSW. This permanent full-time role starts at 4:00pm and supports daily operations by safely loading, unloading and transporting containers while aligning with safety and service standards.

You will work closely with the site team to ensure accurate container handling, pre-start checks, and timely delivery. The role emphasizes safety, reliability and collaborative teamwork in a busy logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a sideloader is essential.
• Current HC driver's licence required.
• Current MSIC required.
• Strong understanding of container handling and safety requirements.
• Ability to complete pre-start checks and identify equipment or safety issues.
• Reliable, safety-focused and available to work afternoon shift commencing at 4:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sideloader to move, load and unload containers in accordance with site procedures.
• Position containers accurately and efficiently to support daily site and transport operations.
• Complete pre-start checks and report equipment faults, damage or safety concerns.
• Follow workplace health and safety requirements, traffic management plans and operating procedures.
• Work collaboratively with drivers and site personnel to meet operational priorities.
• Ensure containers are handled safely and maintain accurate records as required.
