Job summary

Baltic Group is seeking experienced Boilermakers, Mechanical Fitters, Riggers and Trade Assistants to join our shutdown maintenance team in the Mackay region, supporting CHPP maintenance works across Bowen Basin.

We offer travel from Mackay to site, a company vehicle, meals and accommodation, with ongoing training and growth opportunities. Immediate start available for suitable candidates based in Mackay and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Trade Certificate is required.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Current Coal Board Medical.
• Current Standard 11.
• Site inductions (highly desirable).
• Gas Test Atmosphere certification (desirable).
• Working at Heights certification (desirable).
• Confined Space certification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• You will be part of our experienced shutdown maintenance team across CHPP sites.
• Perform back-to-back CHPP shutdown and maintenance tasks.
• Take part in floating crew maintenance across multiple sites.
• Benefit from Mackay-based maintenance work within sugar mills.
• Support major clients including BHP, Glencore, Thiess, Peabody, and more.
• Opportunity for Drive-in, Drive-out (DIDO).
• Live and work in Mackay and surrounding areas.
