Jardan Australia seeks an enthusiastic Assistant Showroom Manager for our Richmond showroom. Reporting to the Showroom Manager, you will support daily showroom operations, inspire a small retail team, and create an exceptional experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

This full-time role runs Sunday to Thursday, focusing on growing retail sales, mentoring staff, attending sales meetings, and maintaining VM standards. A calm, relation‑driven sales approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in premium retail or showroom environment.
• Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting targets.
• Ability to build meaningful long-term client relationships.
• Calm, customer-focused approach to selling and service.
• Attention to styling, detail and spatial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Grow retail sales to achieve personal and team budgets.
• Motivate the team to achieve performance and development goals.
• Attend calendared sales meetings and respond to management as required.
• Review weekly activity reports and monitor market trends.
• Handle customer enquiries, quoting and follow up.
• Build warm, professional relationships with visitors including Architects and Designers.
• Lead initiatives to improve business and grow sales.
• Support recruitment, training and performance management as required.
