We’re looking for a Part-Time Sales Consultant to join our Armadale showroom, in a dynamic, customer-focused environment to contribute to the growth of a leading Australian furniture brand. This is a part-time role that requires weekend availability and a minimum of 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

• Showroom Presentation & Client Engagement: Be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring the showroom is in excellent condition, arriving before your shift to prepare for the day, warmly greeting customers, offering personalised assistance, and guiding them through our collections.
• Build meaningful relationships with new and existing clients, helping them find the perfect pieces for their homes and delivering service that encourages loyalty and repeat business.
• Handle the administrative side of the sales process, including processing orders in person, over the phone, and via email; respond promptly to client inquiries in our CRM; log and track client interactions to ensure a smooth sales journey.
• Contribute to personal and team sales targets, collaborate with colleagues to share feedback and develop strategies, and assist with showroom updates to maintain a clean, organised space that reflects the brand’s high standards.

What you’ll need

• A passion for exceptional customer service and an interest in design and furniture.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and build relationships with clients.
• Proven experience in sales or customer service (retail or furniture preferred).
• A positive, professional attitude and a strong sense of initiative.
• Weekend availability and a minimum of 3 days per week.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative environment.
• Keen eye for detail and ability to maintain showroom presentation to MCM House’s high standards.
