The Kitchen Design Centre (TKDC) Kitchens & Bathrooms operates showrooms in Blackburn, Eltham and Essendon. We are seeking a Showroom Assistant to welcome visitors, handle enquiries and book qualified design consultations for our team across three locations.

You will use CRM to capture enquiries, qualify leads and support daily showroom operations. The role suits someone with strong customer service, sales awareness and good communication who can work Saturdays.

Formación

• Customer-facing showroom experience preferred.
• Ability to capture and qualify enquiries.
• Comfort with CRM and computer systems.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and across multiple locations.

We are focused on delivering a high-quality customer experience while driving showroom activity and supporting our design team through qualified project consultations.

About the Role

We are seeking a Showroom Assistant to join our team, working across our Blackburn, Eltham and Essendon showrooms.

This is a customer-facing, front-of-house role responsible for welcoming showroom visitors, managing enquiries, understanding prospective clients’ renovation requirements and booking qualified project consultations for our design team.

You will play an important role in supporting showroom sales by ensuring enquiries are captured accurately, followed up and converted into appointments.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and manage showroom walk-ins and customer enquiries
• Engage with customers to understand their project, requirements and renovation plans
• Guide clients through the showroom and present kitchen layouts, materials, finishes and options
• Capture all enquiries accurately in our CRM system
• Qualify enquiries in line with our consultation process
• Book and manage project consultations for the design team
• Follow up prospective clients where required
• Maintain showroom presentation and operational standards
• Support day-to-day showroom activities
• Work across our Blackburn, Eltham and Essendon locations as required

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Is confident, professional and comfortable engaging with customers
• Has strong customer service skills and good sales awareness
• Is proactive, organised and able to work independently
• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Takes ownership of tasks and follows established processes consistently
• Is comfortable using CRM and computer-based systems
• Can manage multiple priorities in a busy showroom environment
• Is flexible and able to work across our three showroom locations
• Is available to work Saturdays as part of the showroom roster

Experience in kitchens, interiors, home improvement, renovations, retail or customer-facing sales would be advantageous, but is not essential.
