Job summary

Builders Discount Warehouse – Brendale QLD

Builders Discount Warehouse is Brisbane's trusted destination for kitchen, bathroom, and tile solutions. This is a busy, varied front-of-house role in our Brendale kitchen showroom. You'll be greeting customers as they walk in, managing our kitchen sales inbox, following up leads by phone to book in-home appointments, and supporting the sales team with quoting and customer correspondence. There's a real sales element to the role — you'll be engaging with customers, answering their questions, and helping move enquiries forward. The showroom is active and the team is fast-paced, so the ability to stay organised and switched on across multiple tasks at once is essential. For the right person, this role offers a genuine pathway into a full Kitchen Cabinetry Sales Consultant position within the department.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting customers as they enter the showroom, answering their initial questions, and booking in-home appointments for our kitchen designers
• Monitoring and managing the main kitchen sales email inbox
• Following up online leads to book customers into in-home appointments
• Typing up and formatting quotes from consultant-prepared notes and designs
• Supporting consultants with some quoting directly from completed designs
• Providing informed, attentive customer service to showroom visitors
• General showroom administration — records, correspondence, and keeping things running smoothly

• Warm, professional manner — you're often the first impression customers get of BDW
• Confident and comfortable on the phone — following up leads and booking appointments is a key part of the role
• Strong attention to detail — quotes need to be accurate and well-presented
• Good written communication — you'll be managing a busy inbox on behalf of the team
• Ability to multi-task and stay organised in an active, interruption-driven environment
• Comfortable learning new software — we use quoting, CRM, and design tools (full training provided)
