Job summary

JBS Northern Shipping & Docs is seeking a Documentation Officer to accurately prepare shipping documentation for various markets and vessels. Based at our Northern Operations head office in Riverview, Ipswich, you will report to the Documentation Manager and ensure files are completed and archived within 14 days of sailing.

You will handle forwarding instructions, Bills of Lading, health certificates, invoices, packing lists and Letters of Credit, while providing team support and continuous

Qualifications

• Experience in documentation or shipping is advantageous.
• Proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to respond calmly in difficult situations with a strong customer focus.
• Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
• On-site, full-time role with ability to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Accurately complete shipping documentation for various markets and vessels.
• Prepare forwarding instructions, Bills of Lading, health certificates, invoices and packing lists.
• Manage Certificates of Origin, banking drafts, lodgements, and Letters of Credit.
• Archive all files within 14 days of sailing and support ad hoc duties.
