Job summary

Arrow is hiring a Shipper/Receiver at our Cambridge facility. You will coordinate shipping and receiving activities, label parts for shipping documents, arrange transportation, and verify shipments against bills of lading and purchase orders.

The role requires a Grade 12 diploma, 3–5 years of shipping experience, sit-down propane counterbalance and stand-up reach forklift operation, plus ERP experience with Visual Manufacturing. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and shift premiums.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in shipping/receiving or related industry.
• Forklift experience required: sit-down propane counterbalance and stand-up reach.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically Visual Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Organize the shipping & receiving department.
• Label parts for shipping documents.
• Make transportation/trucking arrangements.
• Check shipments against bills of lading, invoices or purchase orders for discrepancies.
• Inspect shipments for damage and record details.
• Check part numbers and quantities to be shipped.
• Generate packing slips for parts to be shipped.
• Coordinate forklift and truck maintenance.
• Build shipment skids and proper packaging techniques.
• Ship control documents, custom papers, and packing slips.
• Maintain incoming/outgoing inspections of material, supplies, and finished products.
• Coordinate movement of inventory throughout the plants.
• Receive inventory.
• Expedite material through the Visual system.
• Work with QA to inspect all incoming/outgoing parts.
• Maintain/clean and organize the yard outside the plant.

Compensation Range:

$23.07 to $29.89 hourly

Job Summary:

As a Shipper / Receiver, works with team members to facilitate the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment, and stock to and from establishments. You will provide support to ensure that shipping and receiving commitments are achieved.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Organize the shipping & receiving department.
• Label parts for shipping documents.

• Checking shipments received against bills of lading, invoices or purchase orders to ensure that any discrepancies are identified and brought to the appropriate departments’ attention.

• You have at least 3-5 years of previous work-related experience in the same or related industry.
• Must have forklift experience in sit-down propane counterbalance and stand-up reach
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is an asset
• Lifting up to 50 lbs manually
• Forklift experience (counterbalance)
• ERP experience (Visual Manufacturing)
