A Bachelor's degree is desirable.

Job Description

As a Ship's Officer, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of PMG vessels. Working closely with vessel crew, project teams, and management, you will play a key role in supporting marine operations and ensuring all activities are conducted to the highest safety and operational standards.,

• Safe navigation and operation of vessels
• Monitoring vessel position, heading and speed, and adjusting navigation in accordance with approved voyage plans and established safety procedures
• Vessel maintenance oversight and routine inspections
• Leading and supervising crew members
• Supervising deck operations and coordinating crew activities associated with navigational support, vessel berthing and departure, deck upkeep, and the maintenance and replacement of deck equipment
• Ensuring compliance with AMSA and company requirements
• Supporting marine construction, towage, and barge operations
• Maintaining accurate operational and safety records
• Contributing to a positive safety culture and operational excellence
