Applegreen Group is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shift teams at our travel plazas. You will ensure exceptional customer service, oversee daily duties, and maintain strict adherence to brand standards and food safety requirements.

Training new team members and monitoring cash handling policies are included in this role. The position requires standing for long periods, a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and handle payment per policies.
• Ensure proper food handling: wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, temperature checks.
• Assist in kitchen tasks: prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and food safety requirements.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
