Job summary

Asahi Beverages is seeking a Shift Relief Maintenance Fitter for our Wulkuraka site. You will perform planned and breakdown maintenance, fault-find, and support high-speed packaging equipment to keep operations reliable.

The role includes shift coverage on a 38-hour week with potential 12-hour day/night shifts during leave cover. You’ll work in an experienced maintenance team and contribute to safety, efficiency and continuous improvement across production lines.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification recognised.
• Maintenance and fault-finding experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with high-speed production or packaging equipment preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
• Good computer literacy; SAP or CMMS experience desirable.
• Able to adapt across different shifts and crews for relief.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned, preventative and breakdown mechanical maintenance.
• Diagnose and rectify faults on production and packaging equipment.
• Support high-speed machinery to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
• Maintain and improve preventative maintenance activities in your area.
• Complete work orders and maintain maintenance records in SAP.
• Contribute to equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and compliance standards.
