Job summary

Asahi Beverages Group seeks a Shift Relief Maintenance Fitter at our Wulkuraka site to keep high-speed production equipment safe, reliable and performing at its best. You will support planned and breakdown maintenance, fault-finding and reliability, while covering shifts for leave periods.

The role requires a recognised mechanical trade qualification and strong hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, plus knowledge of SAP or CMMS systems.

Qualifications

• A recognised mechanical trade qualification.
• Mechanical maintenance and fault-finding experience within manufacturing.
• Experience with high-speed production or packaging machinery is highly regarded.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
• SAP or CMMS experience desirable.
• Ability to adapt across different work patterns and crews.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned, preventative and breakdown mechanical maintenance.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults across production and packaging equipment.
• Support efficient operation of high-speed machinery to minimise downtime.
• Maintain and improve preventative maintenance activities within your area.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records in SAP.
• Contribute to equipment reliability, problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and compliance.
