Job summary

Funlab’s Archie Brothers, Strike Bowling in Entertainment Quarter, Sydney is hiring a Casual Shift Manager. You’ll lead guest experiences, manage shifts and drive sales with upselling and guest engagement, while keeping the venue stocked and compliant.

Availability on weekends and nights is required; RSA and WWCC are preferred to start. This role offers an award-based hourly rate and opportunities to learn from industry leaders in a fun, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Experience running/ supervising a high-traffic entertainment/hospitality venue.
• Strong guest service and team leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver unforgettable guest experiences with energy and top-tier service mindset.
• Manage shifts, keep the team motivated, and ensure guests have the time of their lives.
• Drive sales on every shift through upselling and proactive guest engagement.
• Coordinate with Venue Manager to meet daily goals and challenges.
• Ensure venue is well-stocked, well-presented, and compliant with safety procedures.

What you'll do:

• Create and deliver unforgettable guest experiences with your energy and top-tier service mindset - and ensure your team are doing the same!
• Manage excellent shifts keeping your team motivated, postive and our guests having the time of their lives
• Drive sales on every shift – smash targets through upselling, product knowledge and proactive guest engagement
• Understand daily goals and challenges, working with the Venue Manager to succeed
• Take pride in your venue, making sure it’s well-stocked and ready to impress at all times
• Own your space! Ensure team members are experts, JUST LIKE YOU- whether you’re behind the bar, or managing the whole shift - Bring your A-GAME.
• Follow all safety and compliance procedures to keep guests and your teammates safe
• Take the opportunities to go above and beyond and anticipate our guests’ needs

What you've got:

• Uniqueness and a passion for fun
• Experience running/managing/supervising a PUMPING entertainment/hospitality venue (and during the day of course!)
• Energy, enthusiasm, positivity - and bucketloads of it!
• Customer service, hospitality or retail supervisor/management experience and a love for building customer rapport
• A love of interacting with a diverse range of guests and team members
• Great availability, must be available on weekends and nights
• A valid RSA and WWCC or keenness to get them!
