Job summary

Funlab is seeking a Casual Shift Manager for Archie Brothers, Strike Bowling in Entertainment Quarter, Sydney. You will lead a dynamic team to deliver outstanding service and unforgettable guest experiences, setting the tone for a fun and safe venue.

Join us to drive sales on every shift, manage staff across bar and floor, and partner with venue leadership to hit targets while keeping guests smiling and engaged all night long.

Qualifications

• Experience running/managing/supervising an entertainment/hospitality venue.
• RSA/WWCC or willingness to obtain.

• Create and deliver unforgettable guest experiences with energy and top-tier service mindset.
• Manage shifts, keep the team motivated and guests enjoying themselves.
• Drive sales on every shift through upselling and proactive guest engagement.
• Understand daily goals and work with Venue Manager to succeed.
• Ensure venue is well-stocked and ready to impress at all times.
• Oversee the team, behind the bar or managing the shift with excellence.
• Follow all safety and compliance procedures to keep guests and teammates safe.
• Go above and beyond to anticipate guests’ needs.

What you'll do:

• Create and deliver unforgettable guest experiences with your energy and top-tier service mindset - and ensure your team are doing the same!
• Manage excellent shifts keeping your team motivated, postive and our guests having the time of their lives
• Drive sales on every shift – smash targets through upselling, product knowledge and proactive guest engagement
• Understand daily goals and challenges, working with the Venue Manager to succeed
• Take pride in your venue, making sure it’s well-stocked and ready to impress at all times
• Own your space! Ensure team members are experts, JUST LIKE YOU- whether you’re behind the bar, or managing the whole shift - Bring your A-GAME.
• Follow all safety and compliance procedures to keep guests and your teammates safe
• Take the opportunities to go above and beyond and anticipate our guests’ needs

What you've got:

• Uniqueness and a passion for fun
• Experience running/managing/supervising a PUMPING entertainment/hospitality venue (and during the day of course!)
• Energy, enthusiasm, positivity - and bucketloads of it!
• Customer service, hospitality or retail supervisor/management experience and a love for building customer rapport
• A love of interacting with a diverse range of guests and team members
• Great availability,mustbe available on weekends and nights
• A valid RSA and WWCC or keenness to get them!
