Job summary

Funlab is hiring a Shift Manager for Strike Bowling & Holey Moley in Surfers Paradise. You’ll lead guest experiences, drive sales on every shift, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering top-tier service.

We're seeking energetic, customer-focused leaders with hospitality or retail experience, available weekends and nights, holding RSA and WWCC (or willing to obtain). Join a seven-day operation with great perks and opportunities to grow within a fun-loving, inclusive company.

Qualifications

• Uniqueness and a passion for fun.
• Energy, enthusiasm, positivity - and bucketloads of it!
• Customer service, hospitality or retail experience and a love for building customer rapport.
• A love of interacting with a diverse range of guests - teens, kids and adults.
• Great availability, must be available on weekends and nights.
• A valid RSA and WWCC or keenness to get them!

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver unforgettable guest experiences with your energy and top-tier service mindset.
• Drive sales on every shift – smash targets through upselling, product knowledge and proactive guest engagement.
• Understand daily goals and challenges, working with your team to succeed.
• Take pride in your venue, making sure it’s well-stocked and ready to impress at all times.
• Own your space! Be trained in all areas and whether you’re behind the bar, at reception, or running a function, you bring your A game.
• Follow all safety and compliance procedures to keep guests and your teammates safe.
• Take the opportunities to go above and beyond and anticipate our guests’ needs.
