Job summary

Funlab in Darlinghurst is seeking Front of House team members who are passionate about service and creating unforgettable guest experiences. You’ll drive sales, engage with guests, and ensure venues are consistently guest-ready across multiple brands.

Ideal candidates bring energy, optimism, and experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service. Weekend and night availability is essential, and RSA/WWCC or willingness to obtain them is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service, hospitality or retail experience.
• Able to build rapport with a diverse range of guests.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends and on public holidays.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Create and deliver unforgettable guest experiences with your energy and top-tier service mindset
• Drive sales on every shift – smash targets through upselling, product knowledge and proactive guest engagement
• Understand daily goals and challenges, working with your team to succeed
• Take pride in your venue, making sure it’s well-stocked and ready to impress at all times
• Own your space! Be trained in all areas and whether you’re behind the bar, at reception, or running a function, you bring your A game!
• Follow all safety and compliance procedures to keep guests and your teammates safe
• Take the opportunities to go above and beyond and anticipate our guests’ needs

What you’ve got:

• Uniqueness and a passion for fun
• Energy, enthusiasm, positivity - and bucketloads of it!
• Customer service, hospitality or retail experience and a love for building customer rapport
• A love of interacting with a diverse range of guests - teens, kids and adults
• Great availability, must be available on weekends and nights
• A valid RSA and WWCC or keenness to get them!
