Job summary

Guzman y Gomez in Australia is seeking a Shift Leader to guide our team during scheduled shifts, ensuring smooth service and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

You will lead busy service periods, coordinate crew training, and actively improve guest experience while upholding brand standards and workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a team within a busy environment.
• Completed or willingness to complete Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
• Completed or willingness to undertake Responsible Service of Alcohol course.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team during busy service periods, motivate and engage staff on shift while upholding food safety and quality standards.
• Train crew and implement improvements to guest experience during shifts.

Job Description

The Shift Leader is responsible for effectively leading the team during specific periods of trade and motivating and engaging the team on shift, by championing our food safety and food quality standards. You will be leading the team through busy service periods, crew training and proactively improving guest experience.

• Experience leading or supervising a team within a busy environment
