Job summary

Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee on-shift operations, guide the team through peak periods, and uphold our food safety and quality standards. You will drive guest satisfaction by mentoring staff and ensuring efficient service.

Applicants should have experience leading teams in fast-paced settings and hold or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor certificate and Responsible Service of Alcohol certification, plus a National Police Check.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a team in a busy environment.
• Food Safety Supervisor certificate or willingness to complete it.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol course or willingness to undertake it.
• Current National Police Check certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team during busy trade periods and manage on-shift operations.
• Motivate and engage staff to deliver great guest experiences.
• Champion food safety and food quality standards on shift.
• Provide crew training and support to maintain service levels during peak times.
