Job summary

Guzman y Gomez is seeking a Shift Leader to drive unforgettable dining experiences on busy shifts. You will train and guide the crew, champion a customer-first mindset and ensure food safety, cash handling, cleaning and stock control are top notch.

You will also manage labour and COGS, oversee deliveries and represent the brand with pride, while promoting career pathways within the business.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Track record of providing outstanding customer service.
• Completed or willingness to complete Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
• Completed or willingness to undertake Responsible Service of Alcohol course.

Responsibilities

• Train, lead, coach and inspire crew while keeping energy high on every shift.
• Deliver standout service to both new faces and regular guests.
• Maintain high quality food safety, cash handling, cleaning and stock control.
• LIVE and breathe GYG values, policies and procedures as an ambassador.
• Communicate clearly with the restaurant team to keep everyone aligned.
• Hands-on with managing labour and COGS to drive profitability.
• Oversee deliveries, ensuring orders match invoices.
