Job summary

Guzman y Gomez in Melbourne is seeking a Shift Leader to guide a fast-paced team, coach staff, and uphold the highest food safety and quality standards. You will focus on guest satisfaction, operational excellence and a positive crew culture, with opportunities to advance into restaurant management.

Applicants should have leadership experience in a fast-paced setting, a strong customer service background, and relevant Food Safety / RAM courses or willingness to obtain them.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of outstanding customer service.
• Completed or willingness to complete Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
• Completed or willingness to undertake Responsible Service of Alcohol course.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate the team to enhance guest experience while upholding food safety and quality standards.
• Set the tone for operational excellence and a positive work environment for the crew.
• Ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to brand guidelines and training.
• Support recruitment, training and shift planning to maintain service levels.
