Visy in Sydney seeks a Shift Electrician to support plant reliability and continuous improvement across a high-tech packaging facility. The role covers breakdown, preventative and predictive maintenance, and the upkeep of PLC-controlled equipment.

You will hold an A-Grade Electrical License with experience in manufacturing or industrial settings, and bring a proactive safety-first mindset. 12-hour rotating shifts apply; PLC fault finding training is provided.

Qualifications

A-Grade Electrical License is required.
Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or industrial environments.
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Proactive, safety-first approach to maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform breakdown, preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
Maintain PLC-controlled production and packaging equipment.
Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and maximise plant performance.
