Ace Ventilation, a Sydney-based company specialising in commercial kitchen exhaust and ventilation systems, is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our Silverwater workshop. You will fabricate ductwork, hoods and components, read drawings, and operate guillotines, folders and presses.

Qualifications

• Confidently use guillotines, folders and presses.
• Read sketches/drawings and work accurately to them.
• MIG welding experience preferred.
• HVAC/ventilation/ductwork experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and works well with others.
• Pride in producing high quality work.
• Work safely and look after tools and equipment.

Experienced Sheet Metal Worker - Full Time

Ace Ventilation is looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our workshop team in Silverwater.

We manufacture commercial kitchen exhaust hoods, ductwork and ventilation equipment. If you're good on the tools, reliable and take pride in your work, we'd like to hear from you.

The job

You'll be working in our Silverwater factory:

Fabricating sheet metal ductwork, hoods and components

Using guillotines, folders, presses and other sheet metal equipment

Reading drawings and working to accurate measurements

Cutting, folding, assembling and finishing sheet metal products

Checking your work for quality and accuracy

Working with the team to get jobs completed on time

Keeping your work area and equipment safe and organised

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who:

Can confidently use guillotines, folders and presses

Can read sketches/drawings and work accurately to them

Welding MIG - preferred but not essential

Has HVAC, ventilation or ductwork experience - preferred but not essential

Is reliable, punctual and works well with others

Takes pride in producing high quality work

Works safely and looks after tools and equipment

Trade qualifications are welcome, but good hands-on experience is just as important to us.
