CrewSELECT Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Welder or Welder/Fabricator with strong thin gauge welding experience to join a busy architectural metal fabrication workshop in Deception Bay. With the workshop ramping up ahead of Christmas, we are looking for a skilled welder who can hit the ground running and help deliver a growing pipeline of custom architectural projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Welder or Welder/Fabricator.
• Strong thin gauge metal welding experience – essential.
• Experience with architectural or high-finish fabrication highly regarded.
• Ability to read drawings and work accurately to specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate thin gauge aluminium, stainless steel and other metals.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications.
• Produce clean, accurate welds with a high-quality finish.
• Complete fabrication, assembly and finishing work.
• Work alongside the workshop team to meet deadlines.

This is NOT heavy structural fabrication. We're looking for someone who takes pride in producing clean, precise welds on thinner materials where presentation and finish are essential.

What You'll Be Working On

• Architectural balustrades, handrails and custom fencing

• Aluminium window hoods, sun screens and façade elements

• Decorative screens, battens and bespoke metalwork

• Pool fencing, gates, pergolas and trellis framing

• Custom architectural fabrication for residential projects

Your Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate thin gauge aluminium, stainless steel and other metals

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications

• Complete fabrication, assembly and finishing work

What We're Looking For
