Job summary

Sheet Metal Solutions NSW is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Tradesman / Fabricator to join our growing Riverstone workshop. This hands-on role involves MIG and TIG welding, fabrication of sheet-metal components, reading drawings, and finishing work on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

You will work independently and as part of a team, handling varied projects from small precision components to larger fabrications.

Qualifications

• Experience in sheet-metal fabrication.
• Able to read engineering drawings and interpret specs.
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding.
• Familiar with laser-cut components, CNC bending and rolling.
• Able to work accurately and independently.
• Safety conscious and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate sheet‑metal components and assemblies.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Perform saw cutting, drilling and tapping as required.
• Deburr and finish parts to spec.
• Work with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
• Assist with bending, rolling and other sheet‑metal processes as needed.
• Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment.
