Job summary

BOS Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator / Welder to join our team in Canterbury-Bankstown. You will fabricate and weld structural steelwork, read drawings, and ensure quality and timely delivery of components.

The role requires MIG/TIG welding skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team in a busy workshop environment. Trade qualifications are highly regarded, and a stable, full-time position with ongoing work is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as Metal Fabricator / Welder.
• Strong welding and fabrication skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Good measuring and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating and welding structural and architectural steelwork.
• MIG and TIG welding as required.
• Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and plans.
• Measuring, cutting, drilling and assembling metal components.
• Preparing materials and components for fabrication.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within required timeframes.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop.
• Working both independently and within a team.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures.
