Immediate start with casual ongoing work and potential for permanent employment; day shifts, 42–48 AUD per hour, site-based with confidentiality and safety procedures.

Role focuses on MIG and TIG welding, reading drawings, and ensuring high-quality workmanship for aluminium components, including components for the defence sector. Own welding helmet required.

Sheet Metal Fabricators - MIG & TIG Welding

Acacia Ridge | Day Shift | $42-$48 per hour

We're seeking experienced Trade Qualified and Second Class Sheet Metal Fabricators for an ongoing workshop-based opportunity in Acacia Ridge, with a view to permanent employment.

What's on offer?

• $42-$48 per hour casual, depending on experience.
• Monday to Thursday: 7am-3:30pm.
• Friday: 7am-1pm.
• Immediate start.
• Ongoing work with an early finish every Friday.

About the role

You’ll be working on the manufacture and fabrication of high-quality metal products and components, with precision, attention to detail and quality workmanship being critical.

Some projects involve components for the defence sector, so confidentiality and strict site procedures are extremely important.

Duties include:

• MIG and TIG welding of aluminium components.
• Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings.
• Measuring, cutting, preparing and assembling materials.
• Checking finished products for accuracy and weld quality.
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
