Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced sheet metal fabricators for an ongoing workshop-based role in Acacia Ridge. Immediate start with casual ongoing work and potential for permanent employment; day shifts, 42–48 AUD per hour, site-based with confidentiality and safety procedures.

Role focuses on MIG and TIG welding, reading drawings, and ensuring high-quality workmanship for aluminium components, including components for the defence sector. Own welding helmet required.

Qualifications

• Proven MIG and TIG aluminium welding experience is essential.
• Previous sheet metal fabrication experience.
• A relevant trade qualification for the qualified position.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Must supply your own welding helmet.

Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG welding of aluminium components.
• Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings.
• Measuring, cutting, preparing and assembling materials.
• Checking finished products for accuracy and weld quality.
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
