Job summary

Worthwhile Recruitment in Penrith, NSW, is seeking a reliable Sheet Metal Assembly Worker to join the team. You will read engineering drawings, measure and assemble sheet metal components, and operate hand and power tools to meet quality standards.

The role offers a casual hourly rate with a temp-to-perm pathway, working Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, in a supportive environment with emphasis on Lean practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sheet metal assembly, fabrication, or a similar manufacturing role.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move materials safely.
• Forklift licence or trade qualifications are highly regarded but not essential.

Our client is looking for a reliable and hands‑on Sheet Metal Assembly Worker to join their team in Penrith. This role involves assembling sheet metal products, reading technical drawings, using hand and power tools, and ensuring work is completed to high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools, power tools, drills, presses, and other equipment.
