Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum, including literacy and numeracy teaching.
• Ability to plan for and implement high-impact teaching strategies.
• Experience using data to inform teaching and provide feedback.
• Understanding MTSS and using multiple data sources for supports.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with families.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning and reflection.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students to achieve outcomes.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum.
• Undertake other teaching and organisational duties as required.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Supervise and train student teachers where appropriate.
• Use student data to inform teaching approaches and monitor progress.
