Job summary

Journey Early Learning Ocean Grove is seeking a Permanent Educator to support planning, implementing and evaluating programs for children in a welcoming 120-place centre. This part-time role runs across 5 days, Monday to Friday, with a focus on nurturing relationships with children, families and the local community.

You will lead age-appropriate programs and daily routines, contributing to a collaborative teaching environment and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• ACECQA recognised Cert3, Diploma or higher
• Experience leading and developing age specific programs and routines
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
• Facilitate learning experiences for your allocated group of children
• Assisting in the observation and evaluation of children's individual strengths, interests and preferences
• Design and implement activities to be included in children's developmental program.
• Be part of a collaborative teaching and interactive learning environment

Education
