Job summary

• SC1: Knowledge of the curriculum and ability to address literacy and numeracy needs.
• SC2: Planning high impact teaching and evaluating learning growth.
• SC3: Monitoring learning and using data to inform practice and communicate with students/parents.
• SC4: Understanding MTSS; using multiple data sources to plan tiered supports.
• SC5: Interpersonal and communication skills; building relationships with students, parents, colleagues.
• SC6: Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals to meet student outcomes.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake other teaching-related duties as assigned by leadership.
• Engage in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Support and supervise student teachers where applicable.
