Job summary

BFX Furniture in Yandina, Queensland, is seeking a motivated Sewing Machinist for a permanent, full-time role in a supportive manufacturing team. The position runs Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:06pm, with an early start to suit family commitments.

Basic sewing skills welcome as training is provided, with emphasis on quality standards and hands-on learning. You'll contribute to upholstery assembly, patterns, and measurements, while enjoying life-friendly hours and long-term career opportunities

Whether you're an experienced Sewing Machinist or looking to learn a new skill, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive manufacturing team producing quality furniture for schools and commercial spaces across Australia. Based in Yandina, this full-time role operates Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:06pm. Professional sewing experience is not essential. We're looking for someone with basic sewing skills, a positive attitude, strong reliability, and a willingness to learn. If you're a team player who can pick up new skills quickly and enjoys hands-on work, we'd love to hear from you.

Please note: If shortlisted, you'll be asked to complete a short sewing assessment during your interview so we can get an understanding of your current sewing skills.
