Smartgroup Corporation is seeking a Settlements Coordinator to join our operations team in Sydney. You will support the novated leasing process before and after settlement, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of documentation.

This is a customer-facing role that interacts with customers, financiers, employers, and dealers to keep settlements on track. The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience in finance or a compliance-based role, strong attention to detail, excellent written

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in finance or compliance-based role.
• Proven Customer Service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with credit application processes or leasing documentation (preferred).
• Strong written communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support the credit application process for customers.
• Assist with setting up Novated Leasing accounts at post-settlement.
• Liaise with customers, financiers, employers, and dealers to ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails.
• Monitor and follow up customer requests with internal stakeholders for efficient service delivery.
• Ensure data entry and system updates are accurate and aligned with compliance standards.
• Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams to support seamless post-sale fulfilment.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy and regulatory requirements.
