Settlement Services International (SSI Group) is seeking a DFV settlement casework professional to support humanitarian entrants and refugees who have recently arrived in Australia. You will deliver culturally responsive DFV casework, conduct risk assessments, and develop safety plans while coordinating referrals to meet settlement needs.

You will be responsible for providing DFV settlement casework support to newly arrived people, especially Humanitarian Entrants and Refugees, who have arrived in Australia within the last five years (or more depending on circumstances) and ensure contractual obligations under the relevant funding programs are met. You will facilitate engagement, conduct risk assessments, provide safety planning & DFV related casework support and facilitate referral pathways to ensure refugee and migrant clients are adequately supported around their DFV and settlement needs.

You bring proven experience delivering culturally responsive DFV casework, including CRASF Level 1 risk assessment, supported by at least three years’ relevant experience and/or a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field. You have strong knowledge of the DFV and multicultural sectors and experience providing high-quality support to CALD communities. You communicate effectively, navigate complex situations with confidence, and build client capacity and engagement. Strong written, interpersonal, and computer skills are essential, and lived experience of forceful displacement and migration is highly valued.
