Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a dedicated, part-time care services worker at Mercy Place Cairns to maintain a clean, safe facility and support resident wellbeing. The role is 26 hours per week and paid as per the EBA.

You’ll bring strong time management, organisational and communication skills, a compassionate approach, and a collaborative spirit. Police Check or NDIS screening is required or in progress. Mercy Health offers security, stability and meaningful opportunities across Australia.

About the opportunity

To ensure the facility is cleaned and maintained in accordance with prescribed routines and in line with infection control guidelines.

What you’ll bring
  • Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
  • A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: A current Police Record Check or NDIS worker screening.
