Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking caring staff for Mercy Place Cairns. The role provides casual, resident-centred care in a compassionate team environment.

You will follow care plans, document care accurately, and support RCS assessments in a collaborative setting. As part of Mercy Health, you will help maintain high standards of patient care, participate in quality processes, and contribute to a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

  • Provide resident care in accordance with care plans, Aged Care Standards and Mercy Health policies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation relevant to resident care.
  • Collaborate with staff to provide information required for RCS assessment and classification.

About the opportunity
  • To provide care to residents in accordance with care plans, Aged Care Standards and policies and procedures of Mercy Health.
  • To provide accurate and timely documentation relevant to resident care.
  • To work in consultation with other staff to provide relevant and timely information required for RCS assessment and classification.
  • Participation in the quality process.

  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and NDIS worker clearance
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
