Mercy Health Australia in Cairns is seeking a part-time healthcare support role to help maintain the Mercy Place Cairns facility and deliver patient-centred care. The position is 26 hours per week with fixed shifts, and the salary follows the applicable Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.

Qualifications

  • Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills.
  • Compassionate, flexible and positive approach to patient care.
  • Ability to build respectful relationships and work in a collaborative team.
  • Evidence of or being able to obtain: Police Check or NDIS worker screening.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the facility is cleaned and maintained per prescribed routines and infection control guidelines.
  • Deliver exceptional patient-centred care and support with daily care tasks.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and adapt to changing needs.

To ensure the facility is cleaned and maintained in accordance with prescribed routines and in line with infection control guidelines.
