Job summary

Frank Recruitment Group is seeking a ServiceNow Senior Engineer to support a major uplift across IT Asset Management, CMDB and Discovery in Sydney with a hybrid working pattern. This is a hands-on role requiring deep ServiceNow engineering experience and a passion for data quality and scalable solutions in a complex enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on ServiceNow engineering experience in CMDB, Discovery and ITAM.
• Solid governance and data-quality discipline for CMDB health.
• Experience with IRE, Discovery, Service Mapping and CMDB Health.
• Proven ability to integrate ServiceNow with enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Work on ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping and ITAM.
• Improve asset visibility, accuracy and ownership across the enterprise.
• Handle infrastructure, cloud, database, network and application discovery.
• Drive CMDB governance, reconciliation and data quality improvements.
• Manage MID Servers, Discovery schedules and pattern-based Discovery.
• Build integrations with infrastructure, monitoring, cloud and security tools.
• Leverage Flow Designer, workflows, business rules and scripting.
• Monitor CMDB health, dashboards and remediation efforts.
• Support broader CMDB/ITAM transformation initiatives.

ServiceNow Senior Engineer | ITAM, CMDB & Discovery | Sydney/Melbourne

I’m currently working with a leading enterprise organisation that is looking for a ServiceNow Senior Engineer to support a major uplift across IT Asset Management, CMDB and Discovery.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys getting into the detail of the ServiceNow platform, improving data quality and building scalable solutions across a complex enterprise environment.

What you’ll be working on:

• ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping & ITAM
• Improving asset visibility, accuracy and ownership across the enterprise
• Infrastructure, cloud, database, network and application discovery
• CMDB governance, IRE, reconciliation and data quality
• MID Servers, Discovery schedules and Pattern-based Discovery
• ServiceNow integrations with infrastructure, monitoring, cloud and security platforms
• Flow Designer, workflows, business rules, scripting and integrations
• CMDB Health, reporting, dashboards and remediation
• Supporting broader CMDB / ITAM transformation initiatives

What they’re looking for:

• Strong hands-on ServiceNow engineering/development experience
• Solid experience across CMDB, Discovery and/or ITAM
• Strong understanding of CMDB governance and data quality
• Experience with IRE, Discovery, Service Mapping and CMDB Health
• Integration experience across enterprise technology environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

• CSA / CAD / CIS certifications, cloud discovery experience across Azure/AWS/GCP, and experience working on large-scale CMDB or ITAM uplift programs.
