Job summary

Construction Equipment Australia (CEA) is seeking experienced Service Technicians for our Horningsea Park workshop. You’ll diagnose, service and repair construction and earthmoving equipment, ensuring performance and safety across our national network.

Ideal candidates have a mobile plant trade qualification and hands-on experience with earthmoving gear. Join a stable, growth-oriented family business with strong training and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• A trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology, Diesel Fitting, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or similar.
• Experience with earthmoving, construction, mining or mobile plant equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Good hydraulic and mechanical knowledge.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair construction and earthmoving equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Complete machine inspections and pre-delivery preparations
• Carry out repairs to manufacturer standards
• Complete service reports, job cards and maintenance records
• Work closely with the workshop team to keep jobs moving
• Follow safety, quality and company procedures
• Help minimise downtime and keep our customers’ equipment performing at its best

What we’re looking for
