Job summary

Hitachi Global Air Power Australia is seeking a Service Technician in Adelaide to join our team. You will operate across customer sites, performing maintenance and repair of air compressors and related equipment, with responsibility for timely service and issue resolution.

The role requires a friendly, proactive technician with field service experience and the ability to travel. A Mechanical Trade Qualification and comfort using tablets for notes are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a field service role.
• Ability to diagnose and fix equipment issues on site.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair air compressors and related equipment at customer sites.

About the role

In this role, you will be part of a respected and knowledgeable team, responsible for maintenance and repair of air compressors and associated equipment at customer sites. This includes regular scheduled service, breakdowns and responding to service questions.

About you

You are friendly, confident at diagnosing issues and experienced at fixing them.

Whilst you do not need expertise in air compression specifically, it's important that you can demonstrate experience in a field service role.

To be successful, you'll bring:

• A Mechanical Trade Qualification ideally in one of the following disciplines - Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Fitter / Turner, Electrical
• Ability to work in a remote location without supervision
• Ability to complete service notes on a tablet
• Flexibility to travel
