Job summary

Randstad is recruiting for a Service Technician based in Keysborough, Melbourne. The role offers a casual ongoing contract of 3 months with the potential for extension.

Pay is over $55 per hour. The position involves developing and maintaining clear work instructions across manufacturing processes, qualifying special processes, and collaborating with production, engineering, quality, and HSE to ensure instructions are practical, safe, and compliant.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and maintain clear work instructions for production teams across all manufacturing processes.
• Own qualification and documentation of special processes, specifically painting, crimping, and torquing ensuring each process is controlled to relevant standards.
• Collaborate with production supervisors, engineering, quality, and health and safety functions to validate that work instructions are practical, safe, and compliant before release.
• Conduct time studies and process analysis to identify efficiency improvements and standardise best practice across the shop floor.
• Support new product introduction by translating engineering drawings and specifications into production-ready work instructions.
• Maintain a structured review and revision process for work instructions, ensuring version control and traceability.
• Partner with quality to support root cause investigations where process deviation is identified as a contributing factor.
• Support internal and customer audits by ensuring documentation is current, accessible, and defensible.

Shift time:

6am - 2:30pm Monday - Thursday
6am - 12pm Friday
