Job summary

ACE Materials Handling Pty Ltd, an Australian-owned engineering and materials handling company, invites applications for a full-time Competency-Based Service Technician to join the Ipswich team. The role focuses on inspections, servicing, maintenance, repairs and on-call breakdown support for a varied client base across industrial and government sectors.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs on materials handling equipment.
• Provide breakdown assistance and on-site support to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and report issues with recommended solutions.
• Work across diverse client environments including industrial, civil, government, aviation, marina and defence sectors.

ACE Materials Handling Pty Ltd is an Australian owned engineering and materials handling company which has been operating since 1991, with branches in Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, Cairns, Gladstone and Townsville. We provide inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair solutions to clients across a wide range of industries, supporting the safe operation of materials handling equipment and related assets.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Competency-Based Service Technician to join our growing Ipswich team on a full-time basis. This position presents an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded individual looking to build a long-term career within the materials handling industry. We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds, including commercial, domestic and industrial environments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for undertaking high-quality inspections, servicing, maintenance, repairs and breakdown assistance for our customers on a variety of materials handling equipment. Our clients range from industrial, civil, government, aviation, marina and defence, providing a diverse range of work to those who seek it, with the opportunity to primarily work in specific areas noted for the right candidate.
