Job summary

Adaptalift group is hiring a Field Service Technician to service Newcastle, NSW, and surrounding areas. The role focuses on breakdowns, fault finding and regular servicing, using the latest tools with support from a national coordination team and supervisors.

Ideal candidates include those with a Mechanical Trade Certificate and experience with fixed or mobile plant equipment, or automotive backgrounds. A current licence and full working rights in Australia are required, with on-road duties

Qualifications

• Mechanical Trade Certificate (All Mechanical Trades Considered)
• Experience within fixed or mobile plant equipment, automotive or similar areas
• Current Car Licence
• Commitment to safe work practices and good communication skills
• Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and referee checks
• Full working rights in Australia

Responsibilities

• Deliver the highest level of service to customers for breakdowns, fault finding and servicing.
• You will have access to the latest tools and technology and the support of our national coordination team and dedicated supervisors.
• No two days are the same as you travel to customers in the Newcastle region, with an expectation of being on the road around 90% of the time.

What you will be doing day-to-day:

• You will be delivering the highest level of service to our customers when it comes to breakdowns, fault finding and servicing.


• You will be provided with the latest tools and technology to efficiently manage your days along with the support of our national coordination team and dedicated supervisors.


• No two days will be the same as you travel from customer to customer in the Newcastle region. We anticipate that you will be on the road 90% of the time.
