Job summary

Landpower Southern is seeking a qualified mechanic to join our Colac workshop team. This hands-on role involves servicing, diagnosing and repairing a diverse range of agricultural machinery and equipment.

Work will be completed both in the workshop and on farms throughout the surrounding region. As a member of Landpower Southern, you will undertake diagnosis, routine maintenance and on-farm service calls, while maintaining thorough records and collaborating with workshop, parts and service

Qualifications

• A relevant mechanical trade qualification.
• Experience with agricultural equipment, diesel machinery or heavy machinery.
• Sound diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• A current Australian driver’s licence.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• A practical approach and strong commitment to workplace safety.

• Diagnose faults and service and repair various types of farm machinery
• Perform scheduled maintenance and general workshop repairs
• Respond to on-farm service requests and equipment breakdowns
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, parts used and service details
