Job summary

Talent in Brisbane is seeking a qualified Service Technician to diagnose faults, service, repair and install air-conditioning systems while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers variety, autonomy and the chance to work on residential and commercial HVAC systems, with support for training and safety compliance. Applicants should have relevant Licences and be able to operate in a fast-paced field service environment.

Qualifications

• Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Certificate required.
• Current driver’s licence essential.
• Restricted Electrical Licence required.
• Refrigeration Handling Licence required.
• Working with Children Card may be required.
• Police Check required for security.
• Defence Cleared Access Card (DCAC) beneficial.
• Australian Citizenship required.
• QBBC Individual Mechanical Services Occupational Licence (QLD) advantageous.
• White Card status required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of customer service, maintaining positive relationships with customers, dealers and contractors.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation of air-conditioning systems.
• Prepare repair cost estimates and recommend replacement parts or equipment where required.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports and documentation using internal systems.
• Coordinate the ordering and allocation of parts to support service and repair requirements.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures, including the safe handling of refrigerants and equipment.
• Maintain tools, vehicles and work sites to required safety and operational standards.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to apprentices where required.

They are currently seeking an experienced Service Technician to join their Service Operations team, responsible for diagnosing faults, servicing, repairing and installing air-conditioning systems while delivering a high standard of customer service.

About The Role
